Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION MANAGER

to join the team at our headquarters located in Braine-l'Alleud.


Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • You will work together with the business and local and Group Digital teams on defining digital priorities and approaches, with primary responsibility for work in the HConnect, CRM and RPA spaces.
  • You will engage continuously with all levels of business line and functional management to assess inefficiencies, process maturity, unmet demands, opportunities for digital improvement.
  • You will actively promote internally the digitalization imperative, with focus on quantifiable business benefits.
  • You will act as central coordinator for Group departments e.g, Digital, CCR, CCC to ensure that Benelux and Group strategies are aligned
  • You will manage projects end to end, from ideation and conception through requirements, development, testing, documentation, training, and transition to regular operation.
  • You will prepare and facilitate post implementation reviews, and lessons learned after major feature releases or solution/product deployments.
  • You will provide continuity of service by coordinating and/or carrying out release (regression/UAT) testing in line with the development cycle, liaising with Digital to ensure high quality solutions are delivered while ensuring early feedback on MVPs.
  • You will provide business and functional management with feedback, as well as reporting tool to monitor uptake and compliance and to identify opportunities for improved adoption.
  • You will actively monitor user feedback, raise and follow up on stories and tickets.
  • You will actively participate in Group workshops to ensure Benelux needs receive the required attention and to support the scoping of new functionality.
  • You will scan our own and other sectors, via outside publications and conferences, for other trends with potential opportunities or risks and to keep up to date with digital trends and best practices.
  • You will work with IT Benelux colleagues to raise the overall HM Benelux level of digital awareness, competence, systems/data thinking

Job requirements

Your profile: 

  • You have solid skills and can demonstrate experience in project management (professional certification a plus).
  • You are fluent in French/Dutch and English (oral and written).
  • You are able to make presentations to all levels of management and work with cross-functional teams.
  • You are able to manage change and promote innovation and improvement.
  • Proactive and self-taught, you also show initiative and enjoy problem-solving.
  • Autonomous and methodical, you can easily prioritize.
  • You are also assertive and delegate effectively.
  • You are keen to learn and explore new technologies and methodologies.
  • If necessary, you are willing to travel.
