Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a committed

PERSONAL ASSISTANT 

TO THE GENERAL MANAGER BENELUX


You will support the General Manager in realizing Heidelberg Materials Benelux’ vision, driving conceptual and strategic topics forward as well as preparing, coordinating and/or facilitating collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.


Your next challenge:

  • “Every-day-Hero tasks”: Ensure the swift and effective resolution of day-to-day operational tasks, including content preparation for meetings with internal and external stakeholders, document meeting minutes and track agreed action items, prepare communication assets.
  • Strategic support: Assist the GM in driving forward conceptual and strategic topics, including conduct high-quality research, analyze data, prepare strategy papers and/or decision papers for the Executive Committee on new strategic initiatives or potential investments. This can involve collaboration with GM direct reports and respective cross-functional teams, or external partners.
  • Project involvement: Participate, coordinate and/or drive internal or cross-departmental projects. Define project plan, collect internal and external data, analyze and follow-up data, evaluate the project and formulate conclusions and recommendations to general management.
  • Ad hoc studies: Realize studies on technical-economical, organizational or financial level, gather information and formulate possible scenarios, solutions and recommendations in order to support the GM, in his decision-making process.
  • Communication Hub: Serve as communication liaison between the GM, Exco Members and other internal or external stakeholders.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • Educational excellence: university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Adaptive learner: A keen learning attitude is prioritized over specific experience, demonstrating the ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and apply them effectively. Ability to work in a demanding, cross-functional team and environment.
  • Project management mastery: Proven experience in project management, with a track record of driving projects to successful completion.
  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds. Applying a dynamic, solution-oriented, and results-driven work approach, coupled with a precise and structured analytical mindset.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in French, Dutch & English.
