Heidelberg Materials Belgium is currently looking for a
TRAINEE in HUMAN RESOURCES
to join the team at our Headquarters located in Braine-l'Alleud.
Human Resources is the foundation of any company because it directly influences the organization’s culture, employee well-being, and overall productivity.
The objective of this traineeship is to provide support to the Human Resources department, while gaining practical experience and developing the necessary skills.
Here are some of your common tasks:
Administrative Duties:
- Handling emails, scheduling, and other office tasks. Analyzing and interpreting data, trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Director to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Monitoring various HR aspects of work (HR meetings, processing HR documents, presentations, reports, ...).
- Participating in preparing employee development programs and performance reviews.
Project Assistance:
- Supporting ongoing projects with research, data analysis, or documentation.
- Participating in cross-functional projects (diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, digitization of HR processes, etc.).
- Conducting research and analysis on various HR-related topics, on demand.
Skill Development:
- Observing and learning the fundamentals of the different HR departments, for example Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and their interactions.
Collaboration:
- Working with the different teams on brainstorming, problem-solving, or client interaction.
Job requirements
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor in Business Engineering, Economics, HR or similar and a keen interest in the field of HR.
- You are eager to develop new skills and gain practical experience.
- You are empathetic, with a strong emotional Intelligence.
- Compliance and Ethics are key for you.
- You have a strong attention to detail and you can demonstrate good time management skills.
- You are fluent in French & Dutch, with a good knowledge of English.
