MANAGER CUSTOMER SERVICE & DISPATCH CEM/AGG

to join the team at our headquarters located in Braine-l'Alleud (BE) or Den Bosch (NL).


Your tasks & responsibilities:

As our Manager Customer Service & Dispatch, you ensure the best customer experience while maintaining the lowest logistics costs possible.  Your main tasks will be:

  • Leading and Coordinating Team Activities: Oversee and organize the Customer Service and Dispatch teams within the Benelux (BENE) region, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination with other departments. Drive team motivation and create a positive working atmosphere.
  • Managing Customer Service & Dispatch Operations: Oversee order processing and dispatch of cement and aggregates to meet customer needs in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness. Handle customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct regular appraisals and provide coaching to ensure high performance and sustained service levels.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality, and other departments to support smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction.
  • Optimizing Inventory and Data Management: Collaborate with production plants to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure data accuracy in SAP for logistics, deliveries, and orders.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing internal processes, aligning with evolving regulatory requirements, and actively leading change initiatives within the Customer Service & Dispatch organization.

Job requirements

Your profile: 

What do we expect from our Manager Customer Service & Dispatch? 

  • You have a Bachelor's degree with a relevant work experience or Master’s degree.
  • You have minimum 5-10 years experience in supply chain or customer service management, with proven experience in team leadership, project management, and strategy implementation. 
  • You are Trilingual in Dutch, French, and English.
  • You can show strong leadership, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to balance operational tasks and strategic thinking. 
  • You are resilient to stress, efficient in time management, and adaptable to change.
  • You have an-depth knowledge of logistics processes, SAP systems, and data management practices.
