Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a
CONTROLLER - CEMENT BENE
to join our Cement Controlling team in the BENE region, at our headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in financial controlling.
As a Controller, you will work closely with the business, supporting operational and commercial teams with financial insights that drive performance and decision-making. You will collaborate with two experienced Senior Controllers active on the Cement Business Line scope and the broader Controlling team to ensure financial transparency and contribute to continuous improvement.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
You support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
You participate in the budgeting and forecasting cycles
You perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers
You partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial analysis and performance insights
You participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc analysis
You contribute to the rollout of SAP S/4HANA and support data and process harmonization
You act as Key user for the Planification Platform (ANAPLAN) application: Maintain and improve existing models, support the development of new models, provide user support and contribute to processes & tools improvements
Job requirements
Your profile:
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
You have 3 years+ experience in a controlling department (industry sector) or in an audit company
You have a strong analytical mindset and attention for details
You are proficient in Excel; knowledge of SAP and ANAPLAN is an plus
You are a good communicator and you have a collaborative mindset
You are fluent in English; French and/or Dutch
You are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
