Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a

LEGAL COUNSEL CORPORATE & COMMERCIAL LAW

3 days/week

Temporary mission for 6 months

to join the Legal team at our Headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.

The purpose of the legal counsel function is to deliver practical legal support in corporate and commercial law, focusing on contract management, compliance, litigation and risk mitigation. The role supports all business lines with a service-oriented approach.

You will be based in Braine l´Alleud, Belgium and you will report to the Legal Director Benelux.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Draft, review & negotiate contracts (procurement, engineering, construction);

• Support business on claims & litigation, in close contact with external lawyer or insurer where applicable;

• Collaborate across cement, concrete & aggregates business lines including key projects;

• Prepare templates and use digital tools to streamline legal processes;

• Work in interdisciplinary, international teams.

Your profile:

• You are a qualified Belgian lawyer (master´s degree in Law) with a focus on contract and corporate & commercial law. A first professional experience as company lawyer is an asset.

• You have minimum 3 years of experience.

• You are fluent in Dutch, with proficiency in French & English.

• IT skills: MS Office suite

• You are a true team player, you work with an hands-on and proactive approach and you have good communication skills.

  START : ideally June 1rst, 2026.
