Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a

LAND & IMS COORDINATOR

to join us at our headquarters located in Braine-l’Alleud.

 

When joining our dynamic sustainability and land team (team tasked around: sustainability, land, IMS, projects), your mission will be to coordinate our land related activities (real estate and property), to ensure compliant and well-managed real estate, as well as an up-to-date database allowing sound decision-making for all business lines. You will also organize and support the further development of integrated systems (e.g. ISO) on Benelux level, to ensure compliant status.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Land Management

  • You will define, implement, coordinate and follow-up operational strategies with regards to land management for all business lines (e.g. purchase, sale, rental, leaseholds, conventions, property expertise, maintenance and rehabilitation of real estate and land, site management, security, demolition);

  • You will manage and regularly review our property database;

  • You will manage the contacts with Group on Real Estate matters and you will coordinate the preparation for the quarterly/yearly updates;

  • You will ensure the correctness of the data in the Group applications regarding land;

  • You will map, review and manage the existing and historical conventions;

  • You will act as Power of attorney for relevant official documents related to relevant topics;

  • You will represent, promote and defend the interests of Heidelberg Materials in different commissions, where necessary;

  • You will perform continuous legal watch, to avoid potential issues, and you will update the current situation, where necessary;

  • You will communicate with all concerned parties (internally and externally);

  • You will have the opportunity to participate in and/or lead ad hoc projects.

 

Integrated Management Systems

  • You will define, implement and follow-up our integrated management system for the Benelux area through coordination of needed certifications (e.g. ISO) and minimum standards;

  • You will critically review status quo and you will propose improvements/track non-conformities;

  • You will ensure internal and external auditing process, as per applicable BE/NL legislation & Group standards;

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of our internal system for compliance.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Administration, Economics, or other relevant education;

  • You already have 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment;

  • You are fluent in French and English. You are also able to speak and understand Dutch in a professional environment;

  • You are proficient in MS Office, Teams, etc;

  • You are organized and are able to work independently within a team;

  • The following qualities define you : communication, flexibility, solution-orientation, willingness to learn, stress resistance, analytical skills;

  • Specific knowledge in land management is a plus, especially linked to leaseholds.
