Projects & Marine Operations

to join the team at our headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.

A unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, operational management for marine plant, and fleet management of heavy mobile equipment.

During your 24-month traineeship, you will develop into a potential management role. You will support and report to the Technical & North Operations Manager, located in our Headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Support the development of detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Monitor project progress and report on performance.

  • Help manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.

Operational Management for Marine plant:

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of Marine operation processes.

  • Support the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

  • Monitor production metrics and quality control processes.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality.

Fleet Management for Heavy Mobile Equipment:

  • Assist in managing the Fleet asset inventory management (FAIM).

  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles.

  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety regulations.

  • Assist for the preparation of the block order.

  • Monitor fuel consumption, payload, mileage, and vehicle performance.

Job requirements

Your profile:

The ideal candidate will be a recent Engineering Graduate with a strong desire to learn and grow in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to take quick and sound decisions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Dutch, French & English.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to interact at all hierarchical levels.

  • Flexible, resourceful, autonomous, ambitious and entrepreneurial by nature.

  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus

  • B driving license
